Sitting crouched at the front of the kennel. He hisses when spoken to and walks towards the back when I open the kennel door. Tolerates petting while turning head to watch my hand with wide eyes. Easy to burrito – looks around the room with a fast heart rate as I hold him in a blanket. Needs more time to adjust.

Sitting crouched in back of kennel with wide eyes and a tense body. Hisses when spoken to. Tries to retreat when I come forward to pet him. I blanket him easily and he relaxes after a few moments. Begins to purr and close his eyes while being held. When I place him back in the kennel he allows petting while leaning in and falling over onto his side. Kneads the ground while purring. Still nervous when initially approached, but he’s been warming up more with each day. Did well today!
