MOST RECENT MEDICAL INFORMATION AND WEIGHT
01/30/2017 Exam Type BEHAVIORPART2 – Medical Rating is 1 – NORMAL , Behavior Rating is NH ONLY, Weight 8.5 LBS.
RECOMMENDATIONS: _x_ Single-pet home – Gin was reported to be social and affectionate with her previous owners, but her behavior seems to have become unpredictable since her owners brought a puppy into their home. Gin attempts to attack the puppy when given the chance and has redirected her frustration onto her owners. Due to the described behaviors, we recommend Gin goes to a home with no other pets OR into a multi-pet home with parents experienced with introducing new animals slowly and gradually over a long period of time. _x_ Placement with a New Hope partner – Gin is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat, she is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
