Gilda was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home.

Lying in front of kennel with a relaxed body, head-butting kennel door. Allows petting along head and body while standing up to lean in for more petting. Doing well after first day!
EVALUATION:
Cage Condition: No change
Reaction to assessor: Gilda was relaxed and rubbing her entire body against the cage door.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Gilda purrs softly and continues soliciting attention.
Reaction to cage door opening: Gilda is calm and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Gilda purrs softly when pet and rubs her cheeks against the assessor’s hand. She allows petting all over, climbs on the assessor’s lap and nuzzles up for attention.
Reaction to being picked up: Gilda is calm, relaxed and has a soft body.
