She has tried to swat, scratch, bite and is extremely fearful in the shelter environment; she does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.

Basic Information:
GiGi is a year old female Black & White DSH that may have a medical issue due to the previous owner stating that she is urinating all over the home. Previous owner found GiGi as a stray and can no longer keep her due to urinating out of the litterbox all over the home.
Socialization:
According to the owner, around strangers, GiGi is friendly & outgoing. Around adults & children (6 yrs.), GiGi is respectful and relaxed. With adults, GiGi plays in a gentle manner and with the child, she can play in either a gentle or exuberant manner. She has never been around other cats or dogs so her behavior is unknown. She has never bitten a person or another animal before.
Behavior:
Previous owners stated that GiGi does not have any behavioral issues. The only litterbox issue is GiGi refusing to urinate in any of the 3 boxes that the previous owner provided to her. GiGi does defecate in the litterbox. Previous owner stated that GiGi isn’t bothered by having a bath or having her coat brushed. The previous owner did not trim GiGi’s nails so it is unknown how she would react to this grooming agent. GiGi allows being picked up and held but only for a short period of time, she will attempt to struggle free when she has had enough. GiGi isn’t bothered by being put into a carrier and she meows during car rides.
