GARMIN – A1078109
Safe - 6-23-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Happy Homes Please honor your pledges: http://www.happyhomesinc.org/
**SAFE 06/23/16** LARGE DOG LOVERS, BEGINNER-RATED KITTENS! Meet ALDO and GARMIN, two BEGINNER-rated kittens who were part of a group of cats who were living in some dude’s yard. They played enthusiastically with his large dog and seem to manage to have lived with him for 5 months with no problem, but rather than find them GOOD homes, he just chucked them into the ACC and walked away forever. Now the ACC wants to make ALDO and GARMIN GO AWAY FOREVER, by killing them brutally tomorrow. This is NOT something that can be allowed to happen, when the fact that they are dog-friendly kittens should make them so much easier to find homes for! A couple of foster/adopters can turn things around for ALDO and GARMIN tonight, so please make sure these heroes are found!

They report that they have been living in their backyard. They interacted with them regularly since they were born and report that they’re friendly with strangers. They are friendly and play rough with their large dog. They fed the cats dry food in the yard and provided them a litterbox, which they used. A1078109 Garmin is a male DSH kitten. He was tense while I pet him, scanned him (-), picked him up, and transferred him to a new carrier. The second time I picked him up, he jumped away onto the counter and hissed. He was crouched and tense with his tail curled tightly at his side while I took his pictures. He was tolerant and quiet while I pet him, collared him, picked him up, and put him back in his carrier.
