Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Galleta. At the time she was lying down calm and relaxed. Galleta allowed petting but does not get up.

When spoken quietly: Galleta does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed
Reaction to door cage opening: Galleta remains soft and relaxed
Reaction to touch: Galleta allows petting and attention
Try picking cat up: Galleta is tolerant of this type of handling.

Galleta was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Galleta is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
