***SAFE 07/09/16*** SHY LICORICE GUY ABANDONED IN A CARRIER!! The ACC says GALAXY likes to hide…well, if someone stuffed you in a carrier and walked away, you’d probably like to hide too. GALAXY is between 2-4 years old and really wants to trust someone. Considering what he’s been through, he’s going to need a little encouragement to feel safe and secure. If you can help GALAXY blossom, apply to FOSTER or ADOPT NOW!! If you need assistance, email [email protected]

06/25/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Galaxy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Galaxy was curled up in his litter box at the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Galaxy lifts his head up and makes eye contact with the assessor but doesn’t come forward. Reaction to cage door opening: Galaxy remains neutral. Reaction to touch: Galaxy slow blinks as you approach him then leans forward to sniff the assessor’s hand. He allows petting all over, slowly rises up and lightly rubs up for more attention. Behavior Determination: Experience Galaxy may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
