***SAFE 05/10/16*** SUPER SWEET BEGINNER FRANCIS–SENIOR GAL NEEDS LOVING RETIREMENT HOME! Meet precious 14 yo grey and white angel, Francis, a super sweet cat that is displaying behavior appropriate for a new cat parent. She came in as a stray surrender but was already spayed–which means she was most likely somebody’s pet at one point. She tolerated all petting and handling–even allowing people to pick her up!!! She has an injury to her left eye and will need follow-up eye care and a geriatric work at a competent vet. Poor Francis finds her precious life in peril tonight and is in dire need of a kind purrson who can open up their heart and home to her–offering this loving lady TLC in her golden years. Can you be Francis’ rescue angel by offering to foster or adopt? You can reserve this sweetheart online or have her delivered right to your doorstep by contacting one of our New Hope partners. Email our help desk and we will lead you through the easy peasy process–[email protected]. Francis is too nice to become another sad ACC stat. Let’s do everything we can to move her to safe haven. Make the call for super sweet senior beginner Francis! Save a life. Make a difference.

05/05/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Francis and at the time she was sleeping. Francis wakes up when spoken to softly. Francis was hesitant and lip licks. Francis slowly comes forward sniffing hand and allows petting. Francis was curious of environment. Reaction to assessor: Francis was facing the back of the cage but appeared relaxed When spoken quietly: Francis ears perk up but she continued to face the back Reaction to door cage opening: Francis remains calm Reaction to touch: Francis turns around and allows all petting Try picking cat up: Francis is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Francis was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Francis is displaying behavior appropriate for new a cat parent.
