*** GONE 09/08/16 *** FOSSIL WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU A LITTLE BIT ABOUT HERSELF….”Fossil was surrendered to the shelter because of client’s housing problems. Fossil came in with sister (BAMBU), A1087366 (not listed). The two have been together since they were born and spend most of their time together. They are both a little shy around strangers and will hide under the bed together until they feel comfortable. Both of them will hide indefinitely from young children that come into the house. Fossil is an exhuberant player, and loves to run around and jump. She has only ever lived with one other animal, her sister. They play gently together and sleep together. Fossil meows at night and sometimes scratches furniture. She cries in the car. She will swat if a bath is attempted and has never had her nails trimmed. She loves to be held and have her fur brushed. She struggles when being put in a carrier. Fossil was described as friendly, affectionate, playful, and independent. She has a high activity level. She loves to follow her owner around and sit on them…..AVERAGE RATED AND ALREADY SPAYED….FOSSIL WOULD BE A LOVELY ADDITION TO A NEW HOME (maybe BAMBU too)…..APPLY NOW TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

She may also hide from young children that visit the home indefinitely. However, she is an exuberant player and loves to run and jump around. She plays gently with her sibling and they will often sleep together. She loves to be held and have her fur brushed, but may struggle when being placed inside a carrier. She was described as friendly, affectionate, playful, and independent with a high activity level. She loves to follow her owner around the home and sits on them. Reaction to cage door opening: Fossil remains soft and relaxed, looking around. Reaction to touch: Fossil was a bit hesitant, but she leaned in for petting when touched. She begins to purr and rubs her cheeks, but continues to look around her surroundings. Reaction to being picked up: Fossil remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Fossil interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. She has no known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with an average amount of experience. Because the previous owner reports she may hide around young children, any future home with young children should conduct a thorough interaction before adopting.
