FLYNN – A1069724
Safe - 4-16-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
**SAFE 04/16/16**BEGINNER RATED FERGUS AND SHY FLYNN NEED A RESCUE ANGEL TONIGHT TO ESCAPE WHAT THE ACC HAS PLANNED FOR THEM!! FERGUS and FLYNN both came in together and were said to be strays. Hmmm sounds a bit fishy since FERGUS is a neutered boy who is SUPER friendly, and FLYNN is a spayed girl who is shy and timid. Poor FERGUS has a fractured left front leg and despite his injury, he was soliciting attention and petting and was as sweet as pie! FLYNN came in with an ear infection and she is not as outgoing but yet allowed handling and got a good EXPERIENCE rating. Both of these kitties are in need tonight for a special purrson to come along and save them from what the ACC plans to do to them at noon Friday. Both of them would be great companions and despite the horrible photos taken of them, they are beautiful kitties. DON’T LET THE ACC GET AWAY WITH MAKING THESE NICE CATS A PART OF THEIR STATISTICS – PLEASE CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL ONE OR BOTH OF THEM TO SAFETY. IF YOU NEED RESCUE INFO, EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] NOW!!

04/12/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Fylnn does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Fylnn does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Fylnn remains motionless Reaction to touch: Fylnn seems indifferent to my presence and touch at first but eventually starts to lean into chin rubs. Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: Experience Fylnn was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying timid behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
