Medical Summary 01/25/17 Microchip scan neg. O: QARH. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. Calm, starts to growl lightly but allows all handling. ORAL: Mod calculus, gingivitis. EENT: Mild nuclear sclerosis OU. No oculonasal discharge. H/L: HR=160, RR=28. Lungs clear. No murmurs/arrhythmias. ABD/UG: Neutered male. Palpation WNL. MS: Mild muscle wasting along spine, hind limbs. BCS=4/9 INTEG: Matted ventrum and hind limbs. A: Geriatric cat age 16 years. Dental disease, matted haircoat. Muscle wasting – r/o age related, metabolic disease, neoplasia, hyperthyroid. P: Schedule CBC/CHEM. Will need mat shave with sedation (pending lab results). Further treatment pending lab results. Fair to good prognosis depending on underlying problems..
