05/30/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/30/17 14:05 Fizz is shy around strangers and typically takes a few meeting times before warming up. He lives with children ranging from newborn to 9 years old and is relaxed and affectionate with them. He plays gently with both adults and children and lives with another male and female cat around the same age. He is relaxed and affectionate with them and always plays gently. He has never bitten another animal or human. Fizz meows in the car and afraid. He has had litterbox issues for the last 6 months where he will defecate on the floor when something upsets him. He meows a lot during baths but tolerates them. He loves being brushed but has never had his nails trimmed so it’s unknown how he would react. He struggles when held and placed into a carrier but isn’t bothered when awoken from his slumber. Fizz is friendly, affectionate, mellow, and fearful. He has a low activity level and when he’s ready to play enjoys catnip but isn’t into toys anymore. At night, he runs around with the other resident cats. When his owner is home, he follows her around and sleeps in his bed in the living room. He is litterbox trained and goes in his uncovered litterbox full of clumping litter. He scratches on his vertical scratching post made of rough rope and sometimes on the couch. He eats Friskies dry food, one cup, once a day. He loves his Temptations treats. On intake, Fizz’s owner told the counselor she would have a very rough time putting him back into the carrier so she started out by collaring him while in the carrier. As soon as she collared he hissed so she did not handle anymore.
