Behavior during intake: Ferrari had a soft and relaxed body during intake. Counselor was able to scan for a microchip, collar and take a picture without any issues.

Ferrari was brought in as a stray, so there is no information on their behavior history or tendencies in a home environment. Her finder was able to approach, pick her up, and place her into a carrier. She appeared friendly around strangers and was soft and relaxed during intake, allowing all handling to be conducted.

A little stressed, kittens in the next kennel managed to open the portal door. She hisses and swiped at them. I checked on her a little later and she seemed a little more relaxed. She comes forward when coaxed, sniffs my hand and accepts gentle petting. Her tail rises up and she appreciates attention. Doing great!
