Scan negative
S/O: QAR, severely dehydrated, mm’s pink, reluctant to use hind legs, weakly ambulatory x 4, possible old fractures in both hind legs – dorsal tarsal/metatarsal regions have healing wounds and are painful on palpation. very weak overall but ate a whole can of wet cat food during exam and got 100 ml LRS SQ. friendly and allowed exam. auscult WNL, bladder small and soft, abdomen WNL. flea dirt present, clean ears
A: suspect trauma (possible hx of hit by car, other trauma)
lameness in hind legs – possible old fractures
dehydration
P: gave 100 ml LRS SQ on exam
start LRS 75 ml SQ SID x 5 days
start amoxi/clav PO BID x 10 days
start bup BID x 5 days
needs new hope placement
prognosis fair
MEDICAL
Fleas, lameness in hind legs. Comatose with tongue hanging out. No response to touch.

S/O: QAR, eating VERY well, unwilling to walk – very painful in hind legs (suspect old fractured in hind legs due to old wounds and muscle atrophy in hind legs). appears comfortable and non-painful.
A: old fractures in hind legs
dehydrated
P: continue current treatments

prognosis: fair
