EENT: Eyes – OD suspect posterior synechiae ( adherence of the iris to the capsule surrounding the lens of the eye), Mydriasis OS; ears – brown sandy debris AU, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: Healthy adult dentition; Grade 0-1/4 dental dz
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: wnl
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: not performed
Assessment: Appears to have posterior synechiae OD (rule-out chronic infection vs previous trauma), Ear Mites
Prognosis:
Good
Plan: Cleaned AU and gave 0.09mLs Ivermectin SQ. Acceptable candidate for adoption or rescue. Consider ophthalmology consult on placement.
