*** GONE 07/21/16 *** FELIX THE CAT – THE WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL CAT IS ABOUT TO BE KILLED BECAUSE HIS OWNER FAILED CATS:101 !!!! Wow, this one is a no brainer. FELIX is a one year old grown kitten. He is a MALE kitten. He is NOT NEUTERED. FELIX sprayed in the home….. DUH… and clueless owner never took him to the vet to be neutered!! Anyone knows that male cats will spray when they are old enough because it is a natural way they mark territory and try to attract females. But this owner failed the course called CATS 101 and took poor handsome tuxie FELIX to the kill happy ACC instead!! FELIX is truly a wonderful cat – what cat likes baths and to play in the water?? He dosn’t mind his nails trimmed…..FELIX also uses his litterbox perfectly and DOES NOT SCRATCH ANYTHING!! WOW! And there’s more…..he is GOOD WITH KIDS!! FELIX needs a furever home with a special purrson to love him. He is a very handsome kitten and after being dumped is a bit nervous so got an EXPNOCHILD rating – even though he lived with kids! FELIX is also publicly adoptable and you can reserve him online ONLY if you can pick him up OR contact a rescue to pull him for you. JUST DO IT!! ADOPT OR FOSTER THIS WONDERFUL CAT CALLED FELIX NOW! YOU WILL HAVE THE BEST EVER PURR-BUG AND BEST FRIEND FUREVER!!! EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] FOR INFO.

07/20/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Former owner stated Felix is friendly with strangers and will play with adults and kids in a somewhat rough manner. Felix has lived with kids’ ages 11 and 16 and was respectful and tolerant of them. Felix has not been around any other kind of animal. Also, describe him as friendly, mellow, and quite with a low activity level. Reaction to assessor: Felix looks neutral, sitting upright by the front when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Felix slowly retreats to the back, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Felix sniffs the assessor’s hand then accepts a brief stroke on the head, but began to meow whine and swat (no claws) to stop the interaction. Placement determination: Experience / no child Felix may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
