Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Fabian was curled up in the back of the kennel with his head lowered. Reaction when softly spoken to: Fabian low growls, arches his back and slowly shifts away. Reaction to cage door opening: Fabian flinches and becomes alert. Reaction to touch: Fabian hisses with his ears bent flat and quickly rushes forward when the assessor extends his hand out. He attempts to flee and currently doesn’t allow any handling. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Fabian is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling.
