EVERETT – A1065842
Safe - 2-29-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 02/29/16*** Another scared baby coming in as TNR! No doubt that treatment didn’t help! The 3 year old, cuter- than – cute may need a full work up for possible endocrinopathy, but as any animal rescued from the ACC, a competent vet exam is HIGHLY suggested! His fear has forced a RESCUE only rating so he needs you to do some legwork by contacting a New Hope rescue and offer to foster or adopt EVERETT! He needs you NOW, because later just may be too late!

02/26/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Everett is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Everett does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Everett does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Everett hisses at the assessor Reaction to touch: Everett hisses with his ears back and swiftly retreats Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick the cat up due to fractious behavior Behavior Determination: NewHope Everett seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. Everett may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
