EPIC – A1081529
Gone - 7-20-2016 Manhattan
**GONE 07/20/16** DO YOU SEE A CAT IN THIS PICTURE? WELL, SHE’S THERE AND POOR EPIC IS FACING HER END TOMORROW AND PEOPLE CANNOT EVEN SEE WHAT SHE LOOKS LIKE!! We have had several cats listed recently with no photos and now we have EPIC, who has such a bad photo it is no improvement. This 16 week old little girl is all black, and frightened to say the least. She was brought in the shelter and caught the ACC cooties and now is being exterminated like she was some kind of vermin. EPIC is on the public adoption site and you can reserve her there if you can pick her up in person at the shelter, or a rescue group can assist you. Why not give this little house panther a chance to have a happy ending to her story. Offer to foster or adopt – she will be just fine once she knows she is safe and loved. EPIC NEEDS YOU TONIGHT – GIVE HER A FREEDOM RIDE – EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] FOR INFO.

07/19/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Epic looks tense, crouched position at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Epic remains in place, alert with eyes wandering. Reaction to touch: Epic accepts a brief touch on the head and began to hiss when touched along her back. Placement determination: Experience / no child Epic tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
