11/13/16 20:22 Finder was able to pick cat up and place into a carrier without any issues. Behavior during intake: Animal fleed during intake and started to growl. Once in the carrier, animal started to hit against the front door trying to flee therefore I was unable to collar but was able to scan for a mc.

Empire was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Empire was at the front of the kennel meowing softly and reaching out with paws towards the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Empire rubs up against the kennel door with his tail erect and seems eager to get out the kennel. Reaction to cage door opening: Empire tries to walk out the kennel. Reaction to touch: Empire scans his environment and seems more interested in walking away and exploring. He leans in when rubbed on his cheeks, allows petting all over his body and appreciates attention. After a couple soft pet he brushes up against the assessor and lies down allowing rubs. Reaction to being picked up: Empire is calm, relaxed and allows all handling. Behavior Determination: Average Empire interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
