Behavior: Friendly behavior during exam

Re-Exam (5/17/16)
S/O: BAR, mm’s pale pink, maxillary left deciduous canine tooth fractured, ears clean AU, serous nasal discharge and sneezing (URI signs), heart and lungs WNL on auscultation, pelvic fracture, caudal abdominal wall hernia with bladder and intestines palpated in hernia, mentally appropriate, bruising on ventral abdomen, not placing weight on right hind leg, male intact, dried diarrhea under tail and on hind legs, very sweet!, mild dehydration, small soft palpable bladder (not azotemic, not hyperkalemic), underweight 3/9
A: suspect hit by car vs. other trauma

P: x-rays – confirmed abdominal wall hernia and pelvic fracture
run CBC/chem/combo test – FeLV/FIV negative, CBC error, chem: elevated ALT 128, slightly low creat and K
start buprenorphine 0.07 ml BID x 7 days
butt bath to clean diarrhea
continue deworming with ponazuril and panacur
start doxy 0.4 ml PO SID x 10 days
start LRS 50 ml SQ SID x 2 days
prognosis: good with surgery
rec NH placement
Vaccinate (5/17/16)
Negative for FeLV/FIV
