Elf was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home.

Lying in back of kennel, ears forward and eyes alert. He sniffs my hand and licks his lips. Allows petting along head and body while turning head to continue to smell my hand. Leans in gently with continued petting. A bit nervous after first day, needs some time to adjust. Timid. Sprayed feliway.
12/04/17
Lying in back of kennel, ears forward. Sniffs the air as the cage door opens and stretches, coming forward to greet my hand with a gentle head-butt. He allows petting along his head and body while leaning in and raising his tail. Wary of surroundings, allows all petting and leans in while body remains slightly tense. Needs some more time to adjust. Sprayed feliway. Not too interested in treats.

Elf was relaxed and lying down at the back of the kennel.

Elf comes forward when coaxed and looks around at her surroundings.

Elf remains calm and relaxed.

Elf is very curious and steps out the kennel to explore his surroundings. He stays close to the assessor, leans in for attention and gives the assessor head butts.
