I will tell you the rules, head rubs please, feed me, love me. I will be lovable to you as long as you take good care of me. I will give you rewards for being so loving to me by keeping you company and being a great friend.

Reaction to assessor: Edward comes to the front of the cage soliciting attention
When spoken quietly: Edward stays at front and continues soliciting attention
Reaction to door cage opening: Edward remains soft & relaxed
Reaction to touch: Edward solicits petting and attention
Try picking cat up: Edward is tolerant of this type of handling.
Behavior Determination: Beginner
Edward was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Edward is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
