I attempted to take out Dynamite for an intereaction and he was doing lots of lip licking and retreating further into the kennel avoiding touch. I fed him some treats to coax him which he ate but still did not warm up. He swatted at the cat scratcher and kept hissing. He wasn’t aggressive just seemed unsure and more nervous. He may just need some more time to warm up.
OWNER PROFILE:
Dynamite is a 4 year old Neutered Blue DSH mix; he came he was surrender due to the family’s infant having allergies and asthma. He has no known health or injures and has no recent vet history.

He has lived in a home with two children ages 2 and 3 years old, he is very friendly and gentle around the children. He has lived with one male Cocker Spaniel and was very tolerant but mostly kept to himself and has no bite history.
Dynamite likes to scratch on leather furniture, and loves to play with straws. He likes being picked up and held, but will struggle to get into the carrier.
