10/30/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Duffy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to is behavior in a previous home. Reaction to assessor: Duffy sat at the front of the cage, relaxed, attentive, meowing for attention, with soft body posture and eyes. Reaction when softly spoken to: Duffy remained right at the front, calm and relaxed, begins attention seeking by rubbing against cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: He remained calm, was friendly and social, came forward for attention. Reaction to touch: Duffy allowed petting all over and solicited more. Reaction to pick up: Duffy was easy to pick up and hold, including upside down and like a baby. He squirmed a bit at times, but purred when held as assessor walked around the room. Behavior Determination: Beginner Duffy interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle, and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
