11/03/16 17:38 Basic Information Domino is an approximate 1 year old female domestic short hair. She was found by the police as a stray in a building’s stairwell. She tolerated being petted by the police. She struggled a little bit when being placed in a carrier but did not attempt to swat or bite. She was relaxed during the car ride to our shelter. No signs of aggression were displayed while under the care of the police. Behavior during Intake Domino tolerated all handling. She purred, head butted my hand, and arched her back when I petted her. No signs of aggression were displayed during the intake procedure.

Domino was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was found in an apartment building and allowed her finders to pet her. She struggled a little when trying to place her into a carrier, but did not attempt to swat or bite. She was relaxed during the car ride to the care center and tolerated handling during intake. She purred, head-butted the counselor, and arched her back during petting. Reaction to assessor: Domino comes to the front and was calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Domino meows and rubs her head against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Domino greets the assessor by the opening. Reaction to touch: Domino continues to meow, but leans in for petting. She head-butts and is very solicitous of attention, purring loudly. Reaction to being picked up: Domino remains calm and continues to purr when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Domino interacts with the observer, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
