DOMINIC – A1067483
Safe - 3-19-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Feline Rescue of SI Please honor your pledges: http://felinerescueofstatenisland.org/donation/
*** SAFE 03/19/16 *** NEW HOPE ONLY! “When approached while in carrier, Dominic backed away towards the back of the carrier. Once taken out Dominic attempted to flee, and ran around the admissions office attempting to escape. Despite being scared Dominic did not show aggression when counselor grabbed him with a towel.” And so began Dominic’s stint at the ACC, which is where he landed after someone caught him in her yard. Dominic is guesstimated to be about 4 years old and he must have a good appetite, because that’s how he was caught—-with the lure of food. He is said to have hissed at the finders’ dog rather than running away with all the other cats, and again, he was NOT aggressive after being chased around the admissions office at the shelter. Read his notes carefully—his growling seems to happen when he feels threatened and confined, which is probably how any one of us would react in similar circumstances. Please share his story, pledge for his care, and message [email protected] if you can foster/adopt Dominic. Only a New Hope rescue group can pull him to safety, tonight.
