DMX – A1097109
Safe - 12-13-2016 Manhattan
SAFE 12/13/16 A volunteer writes: The first things I noticed about DMX when I met her the other day: her sleek soft fur, her warm copper eyes, and her shyness when it comes to meeting new people. The Care Center can be a scary place for a small cat, so I knew I should take our meet-and-greet slow. After talking to her for a few minutes, she came out of her shell and revealed her sweet personality and love of pettings. This is exactly the experience our behavior team had with her, reporting that DMX warmed up slowly but was soon sniffing, purring, and leaning in for more affection. DMX comes from a home, but her former owner didn’t provide any information other than that she lived with other cats. Her past may be a blank slate, but her future looks bright. This is a girl who will make new pet parents very happy.
