*** SAFE 09/23/16 *** A DIAMOND THAT HAS IT ROUGH……DIAMOND & housemate LACY ANN (not listed) are 17 and 15 respectively…..A whole lifetime with a family meant nothing because now a child is “allergic” and the owner doesn’t want these two super seniors any more. DIAMOND is also DECLAWED…..Already SPAYED, she has a lovely AVERAGE rating. She would be just wonderful in a quiet home where she could rule the roost as befits her age and dignity!! IF A MATURE CAT IS JUST YOUR TICKET, PLEASE CONSIDER THIS “GEM” TONIGHT!! DIAMOND can be publicly adopted or reserved through a New Hope rescue!!

09/10/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/10/16 14:18 Basic Info: Diamond A1089259 is a 17yr old spayed torbie DSH feline who was bought from a petstore 17yrs ago & is being surrendered along with her “sister” Lacy Ann A1089260 due to the owner not wanting them anymore/a child is allergic to them. They were last seen by a veterinarian a few years ago and currently have no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Diamond is friendly/outgoing. She’s lived with a 1yr old but will hiss & or run/hide from them. With the adults she was gentle, relaxed, playful & affectionate with them. Diamond was a bully towards Lacy Ann and would swat, hiss and or chase her if Lacy Ann attempted to do things before she would. Diamond hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Diamond isn’t bothered by the following: having her nails trimmed, being brushed, being in a car, being picked up/held or with being placed into a carrier. She hasn’t been given a bath nor has she been disturbed while sleeping/resting. For a New Family to Know: Diamond is described as friendly, confident, playful (at times), mellow & quiet with a low activity level. When the owner is home she follows them around sometimes. She enjoys ball & mouse toys at times and is an indoor only cat that sleeps around the home. Diamond eats wet Friskies 1-3x a day. She is uncovered litter box trained with crystal or clumping litter within. She doesn’t have a scratching post since she and Lacy Ann were front declawed when younger because they scratched the couches. Intake Behavior: Diamond allowed all handling and was social. She allowed to be collared and taken pictures of. Diamond didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease where she began to meow, show her belly and rub up against the kennel bars.
