12/09/16 16:25 Dexter is a white and black kitten that is 5 months old. The kitten was adopted from ACC. The owner is returning Dexter due to personal problems. Dexter has lived with a 6 year old. Dexter was playful around the child and purred when petted. He was friendly and affectionate with everyone in the family. Dexter enjoys a diet of Purina kitten food. He always used his hooded litter box. During intake Dexter was very playful and purred when petted. He allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.

Dexter was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Dexter is relaxed, playful and reaches out with paws trying to get the assessor’s attention. Reaction when softly spoken to: Dexter purrs softly, rolls around and climbs up the kennel bars. Reaction to cage door opening: Dexter is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Dexter is full of energy and walks out the kennel to explore his surroundings. He allows petting all over, leans in when rubbed on his cheeks and appreciates attention. Reaction to being picked up: Dexter is calm, relaxed and has a soft body when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Dexter interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home
