Devan was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Devan was at the front of the kennel looking out at her surroundings. Reaction when softly spoken to: Devan sniffs the assessor then moves to the back and rolls around playfully on his blanket. Reaction to cage door opening: Devan is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Devan rubs up for attention and allows petting all over. He starts to purr softly and appreciates all attention. Reaction to being picked up: Devan is tense, gets antsy and leaps back into the kennel. Behavior Determination: Average Devan interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
