Owner came into return Deb A1124083 she stated that she adopted DEb on Saturday. Her Brother and mother came to NYc to visit for a month and she found out her brother was allergic. she tried moving Deb into another room but it did not work.

Lying in back of kennel, tail wrapped around body. She rolls over onto her side as I open the kennel door and leans into petting. Continues to roll around kennel floor and begins to purr as I continue to pet her. She stands up after a few moments and comes forward, tail raised as she kneads the kennel floor. Head-butts my hand and allows all petting for duration of session. Doing great!
EVALUATION:

Reaction to assessor: Deb was hiding underneath her bogus paper near the front of the cage.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Deb doesn’t get up or come forward when coaxed.
Reaction to cage door opening: Deb remains motionless.
Reaction to touch: Deb pauses and meows softly when the assessor pulls up the bogus paper. She sniffs the assessor’s hand then lightly nudges for attention, rolls over on her side and starts to purr. She lightly grabs the assessor’s hand and licks, allows petting all over and gives head butts.
Reaction to being picked up: Deb is calm, relaxed and allows petting all over.
