**SAFE 02/13/16** INCOMPREHENSIBLE! Who finds a cat sitting on the sidewalk, presumably in front of some buildings, and then just ASSUMES that cat to be lost? Whoever found DARWIN in that setting, made that awful assumption and brought him to the ACC. Now this delightfully squishy orange masterpiece waits on the death list tonight, hoping against hope that someone will decide to save his life tonight. Are YOU that someone? Message [email protected] if you have any questions, and everyone else? Please SHARE his story and PLEDGE toward his care, and make sure DARWIN is saved tonight!

02/09/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
02/09/16 08:55 Darwin is a 3 to 4 year old orange tabby that was found sitting on the sidewalk in the Bronx. Darwin appears to be a house cat because he was found dirty and malnutritioned. Darwin also seems to have a slight injury to his tail because it appears crooked at the tip. The finder stated that Darwin was very friendly when she approached him and he allowed the finder to place him in a box to be transported to the center. Upon intake Darwin allowed all handling including pictures and collaring. Darwin was very relaxed during his photo shoot and didn’t try to flee when we backed away from him.
