DANIEL – A1063647
Safe - 2-24-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Waggin Train Rescue Please honor your pledges: http://waggintrainrescue.org/donation.php?title=Donate
***SAFE 02/24/2016*** A volunteer writes: Daniel is a scared little boy who sits way back in his sleeping cubby, wide-eyed and tentative about having his door opened and a hand coming toward him. But if you approach slowly and softly, he is willing to let you pet him and he seems to heave a sigh of relief at how good it feels. Daniel would probably do best in a home with adults who are willing to let him get to know his new surroundings slowly and surely. A calm and quiet home seems to be the best option for this little boy….WHO HAS SOME TIME AND TLC TO SHARE WITH DANIEL?? APPLY NOW TO FOSTER OR ADOPT AND BRING HIM OUT OF HIS SHELL……If you need assistance, email [email protected]

01/29/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Dolly does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Dolly does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Dolly remains motionless Reaction to touch: Dolly’s body is tense and she flitches when touched Try picking cat up: Did not attempt due to Dolly being fearful Behavior Determination: Experience Dolly was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
