DANDIE – A1073650
Safe - 5-26-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 05/26/16*** DASHING DANDIE IS A STUNNING BOY WHO NEEDS A RESCUE ANGEL TONIGHT! DANDIE was “picked up from the owner’s home due to personal problems”. This interpreted means that the owner didn’t want to be the one to personally dispose of his loyal cat at the kill happy shelter. DANDIE is not a happy camper and is confused and wondering what he did to deserve abandonment. DANDIE is a 2 year old neutered boy and has been at the shelter since the 14th. The medical notes are from back on the 15th where it said he was perfectly healthy. It just shows that DANDIE was destined to be warehoused til they found a spot for him on the euth list. Yet on the 17th they did note that he was very stressed in the shelter and punished him with a New Hope rating. DANDIE deserves to be back in a home where he is loved. Give DANDIE a happy ending to his story and contact a rescue to pull him to safety tonight!!

05/14/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/14/16 09:52 Dandie A1073650 is a young black and white DSH feline that was picked up from the owner’s home due to personal problems. The finder didn’t have any information on Dandie and didn’t handle Dandie due to him/her being in a carrier when they arrived. During intake Dandie appeared nervous and fearful as he had a low body posture. He/she allowed to be scanned (-) then after the scanning Dandie began to hiss, growl and swat at the handler. Due to this behavior we were unable to collar Dandie or take his/her picture on the back drop. He/she walked into the kennel on his/her own from the carrier.
