DAGAN – A1091446

***SAFE 10/12/16*** HELP THIS HANDSOME FIV POSITIVE FELLOW TONIGHT! It has been said that “pets are the victims of whoever owns them,” and DAGAN is certainly feeling the truth of that statement tonight. DAGAN entered the ACC system when his owner was evicted, an event which DAGAN could neither predict nor prevent. No matter what happens to the humans in the former household, they will not be given lethal injections for failing to pay the rent; that unfortunate penalty falls to the innocent pets. DAGAN is 5 years old and was a loved family pet until 9/27. This is a cat who should easily transition into any new home. DAGAN has lived with other cats and dogs and is very sweet overall. Please advocate for DAGAN tonight.

09/27/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/27/16 21:43 Dagan is an adult neutered DSH cat. He was brought to ACC with 5 other cats by police after their owner was evicted. There were a 7th cat and 2 dogs in the home, but their owner was able to bring them with him. They arrived together in one large crate. Dagan retreated to the back of the carrier. He growled but didn’t otherwise resist as I picked him up with a towel and placed him in a new carrier.
