CYMBA’S owner clearly just did not want to be bothered…..CYMBA is 11 years young, NEUTERED and DECLAWED. He is a very sweet fellow with an AVERAGE RATING. He is also a HEFTY 21 pounds!! Cymba was brought in without any information on his behavioral tendencies in a home environment. He was calm during intake and allowed petting. He also allowed all handling during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Cymba was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cymba meows softly and leans on his side. Reaction to cage door opening: Cymba gets up and greets the assessor by the opening. Reaction to touch: Cymba leans in for petting and meows. He allows all petting, but attempts to explore outside of his kennel. Reaction to being picked up: Cymba allows all handling despite his girth and remains calm. Behavior Determination: Average Cymba interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
