SAFE 5/21/17 These four tiny kittens were brought in after someone found them when he started heating his gas grill and didn’t know the kittens were in the drip pan. They came in smelling like lighter fluid but were fine after in air conditioned shelter and were bottle fed. NEED EXPERIENCED FOSTER.

Medical Summary 05/20/17 10:04 DVM intake exam: S/O: approx 2-3 week old kitten (deciduous incisors erupting), not eating on own – will need bottle/syringe feeding every 2-3 hours, H/L WNL, flea dirt present, no URI signs, no alopecia, eyes clear OU, amb x 4, bright and active, very vocal, ears clean AU A: 2-3 week old intact kitten P: recommend new hope placement — Microchip: Scanned negative Sex: Intact Female Age 2-3 weeks Mentation: appropriate Not eating on own; showed no interest in lapping at food placed in mouth; did not try to eat from bowl. Took bottle well. Eyes: Clear (picture shows kitten food stuck to eye) Ears: clear Nose: clear Teeth: beginning to show incisors, white, gums pink If abnormal BCS: Skin: mild flea dirt, no live parasites visible Hair Coat: mildly soiled. Faint smell of lighter fluid clinging to neck and back. Declawed: No Any injuries: Came in open mouth panting; finder had started heating gas grill without knowing kittens were in drip pan.
