Owner is surrendering Cookie due to allergies. Cookie S has no known illness. SOCIALIZATION Cookie S has never been around children. She solicits attention from stranger that comes over the house. Cookie is playful and affectionate with adults around the house. He has never been around dog. But has been introduced to other cat and she is playful and relax. BEHAVIOR Cookie S is tolerant of most handling. He allows being picked up but not for a long period of time. He does not enjoying being bath or having his nails trimmed. He attempts to escape the house. Cookie always uses his litter box and never has accidence. He has never bitten or scratched anyone. Cookie S is fine going into his carrier. But struggles being restrained and attempts to escape. FOR NEW FAMILIES Cookie S is described as gentle, playful and affectionate. He enjoys being around people. He always sleeps in owner bed. When he engages in play with adult he plays very gently. He enjoys strings and any cat toys. Cookie S enjoys unlimited dry cat food of any brand. As a treat he enjoys wet food occasionally. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE During intake Cookie S allowed all handling. He was a bit nervous and crouched down. Cookie S allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.

Reaction to door opening: Cookie S remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Cookie S head-butts the assessor’s hand, rolls over, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Cookie S interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
