I am a neutered male black domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 6 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/23/2016 from NY 10025, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/23/16 20:14 Basic Information Colombo is a 6 year old domestic short hair. He was found as a stray wandering the streets. Finder was able to capture him easily and place him inside a crate. Finder stated Colombo tolerated handling and was very vocal throughout their trip to our shelter. Colombo displayed no signs of aggression towards the finder. Behavior during Intake Colombo tolerated all handling. No signs of aggression were displayed.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Colombo was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. His finder reports they were able to pick him up easily and place him inside a crate. He tolerated all handling, but was vocal when transporting him to the care center. He did not display any signs of aggression towards the finder. He also allowed all handling upon intake and during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Colombo was calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Colombo looks at the assessor with soft eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Colombo remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Colombo sniffs the assessor’s and accepts petting on his head and body. He leans in for cheek and chin rubs, purring loudly. Behavior Determination: Average Colombo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
