A1118644 Cola – Adult only determination; Cola appears shut down in the shelter environment. He becomes alert when approached for interaction and may flinch with any sudden noise or movement, but he remains completely immobile when pet. He appears uncomfortable, but he doesn’t give much of a reaction.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Steady VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Timid EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Cola remains neutral, tucked limbs in his litter box during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Cola remains immobile with head up, ears erect, and forward; alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Cola’s body stiffens during the touch with no further interest during the interaction. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Cola may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.
