Basic information.
Coco is a 16 year old spayed Persian with no known medical conditions. Owner has had Coco for 15 years and is surrendering because owner health
Socialization
Coco has not lived with Children or dogs. Coco has lived with cats and was affectionate and respectful towards them.. Coco played exuberantly with the other cat and liked to play chase. Coco plays gently with adults. Around strangers Coco is friendly and outgoing. Coco does not have a bite or scratch history.
behavior
In car rides Coco will meow. Coco is afraid of getting bathes and being placed in a carrier and will struggle to get away. Coco isnt bothered when having her nails trimmed and enjoys being brushed. Coco also isnt bothered when being picked up and held.
For the new family to know
Coco was described as Friendly, confident and comfortable with a high activity level. When home with her she will follow you around. Coco enjoys playing with strings and balls. Coco is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. If the litter box is covered Coco will not go in it. Coco eats Friskies both wet and dry food twice a day. Coco has a scratching post made of cardboard and also likes to scratch on the walls.. When it time for bed Coco likes to sleep anywhere.
Behavior during intake
During intake Coco was talkative.. Coco allowed to be collared with a loose body but would try to jump off the picture station and explore.
ENRICHMENT:

Lying in litterbox, ears forward. She walks to the front of the kennel as I approach and leans into petting. Allows touch along her head and body while leaning in with a raised tail. Doing well! Sprayed feliway. Very fluffy and pretty senior lady.
