10/26/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Clue was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Clue was curled up at the back of the kennel lying down on his blanket. Reaction when softly spoken to: Clue turns his head towards the assessor, slow blinks and doesn’t come forward. Reaction to cage door opening: Clue remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Clue closes his eye when the assessor extends his hand out and touches him on his head. He seems unsure of contact but will eventually lean in when rubbed on his cheek. He seems to appreciate attention and after a couple soft passes he lifts his head up allowing cheek rubs. Reaction to being picked up: Clue was a bit tense when picked up, allows all handling then looks around wary of his surroundings. Behavior Determination: Experience Clue may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
