CLEO – A1083964
Gone - 8-28-2016 Manhattan
***GONE 08/28/16*** CLEO’S PREVIOUS OWNER NEEDS TO BE THE ONE ON DEATH ROW AFTER DUMPING THE GIRL WITH HEALTH PROBLEMS AND BECAUSE THERE WERE TOO MANY OTHER PETS IN THE HOME!! CLEO was said to be 20 years old by the previous owner, but did not match up with the findings from the folks at the ACC…They have CLEO at 6! Quite a big difference and likely a ploy on the part if the ex- owners to rid themselves of the embarrassment of dumping a sick cat! The SPAYED girl has a hematoma on her ear and small mass on her leg. She is BEGINNER rated through all the problems bit will need a complete work up by a competent vet. Please offer to FOSTER or ADOPT CLEO and get her back the life she once knew was good!

08/03/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
8/3/16 13:29 Basic information: Cleo is a 20 year old spayed female domestic short hair mix. The owner surrendered Cleo because of Cleo’s health (has been using the bathroom outside the litter box for the past 2 months and old) and she has too many pets in the home. Cleo has not taken her to a vet in over 5 years. Socialization: The owner states that around strangers Cleo is friendly and outgoing. Cleo has not lived with children, but around adults she is gentle and loves to play. Cleo has lived with four other cats and plays really well with them. She has never been around dogs so the owner has no idea how Cleo would react around them. Cleo has never bitten or scratched anyone. Behavior: Cleo does not like being been bathed (struggles), had her nails trimmed. She does not mind having his coat brushed, being picked up and allows being placed in a cat carrier. For a new family to know: The owner describes Cleo as friendly and playful cat with a medium activity level. Cleo has never played with toys; she lives mostly indoors and sleeps anywhere in the house that she wants. In the home Cleo will follow the owner around and prefers to stay in same room as the owner. Cleo eats various brands of brand wet cat food and is feed two times a day. She is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter (However as of the last 2 months Cleo has not been using the litter box and has been having accidents in the house). Cleo has never been given a scratching post so the owner does not know if he will use it or not. Behavior during intake: During intake Cleo was clam with soft body, she allowed us to scan (-) put on collar, photographed and placed in cat kennel.
