CISCO – A1083389
Gone - 8-20-2016 Manhattan
**GONE 08/20/16**SECOND CHANCE FOR SWEET CISCO THE SENIOR– NEEDS LOVING RETIREMENT HOME TONIGHT! CISCO is a handsome 12 year old creamsicle gentleman. Judging by this cutie’s notes, it seems fair to say that he’s been bounced around a bit in his life. His most recent owner has had him for the last 2 years, stating that he found him as a stray and kept him after no one claimed him. Now Cisco has been surrendered to the ACC due to new people moving into his previous home who are complaining of “allergies.” Despite this obvious betrayal, this boy remains friendly and enjoys affection. He even sits calmly in his assessor’s arms when picked up! One would think Cisco would be scooped right up for adoption, given his devilishly good looks and sweet character. But instead the ACC have listed him to DIE AT NOON TOMORROW! Please don’t let the monsters at the shelter cut his life short, he has so much to offer! Cisco deserves a loving home, with a warm sunny spot to curl up in and snooze the day away. Can he spend his golden years with you? Please offer to FOSTER/ADOPT him RIGHT NOW!

08/14/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
**Update 08/18/16** Cisco remains very social with humans and solicits attention when approached, but he does not appear to be acclimating well to the busy adoptions room. When a person extends their hand for him to sniff, he vocalizes loudly and attempts to swipe their hand. He has been social and easy to handle and was appropriate for an adopter with an average amount of cat experience, but because he has since been swatting randomly (without claws) during interactions, we recommend he goes to a home with experienced cat parents. We believe it is in Cisco’s best interest to move out of the kennel environment and into a stable home as quickly as possible. Date: 08/02/16 Reaction to assessor: Cisco does not come to the front, but looks at the assessor – is calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cisco comes to the front of the cage – soliciting attention, rubbing against the cage front, and meowing. Reaction to cage door opening: Cisco remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Cisco solicits petting and attention – rubbing against the assessor’s hands and purring. Reaction to being picked up: Cisco sits calmly in the assessor’s arms and looks around. Behavior Determination: Beginner Cisco interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
