**SAFE 06/12/16** CHUNKY AND HIS SIBLING SAVANNAH – A1076160 (NOT LISTED TONIGHT) WERE GIFTS TO OWNER AS KITTENS AND WERE DUMPED FOR MOVING! CHUNKY is a very handsome orange boy who is only 3 years old. He and his sibling (A1076160) lived with him since kittenhood. CHUNKY was said to be affectionate and friendly around children. He is very playful with his sister Savannah and would chase her around the house. Hmmm seems to me that these kitties are BONDED, and it would be wonderful if they could get adopted together!! CHUNKY got and EXPNOCHILD rating because obviously being alone in a cage away from home and BFF, he is not a happy camper. CHUNKY IS A GREAT FAMILY PET WHO DUE TO HIS FEAR HAS NOW BEEN SLATED TO DIE. HURRY AND CONTACT A RESCUE TO SAVE CHUNKY AND BONDED SISTER SAVANNAH NOW! THIS DYNAMIC DUO NEEDS A HERO TONIGHT!!

06/07/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Chunky’s former owner described him as shy (at times), but friendly after a few minutes, affectionate with the family, and playful with a medium activity level. Also, he is friendly around children and lived with his sister Savannah all of his life. He plays exuberantly with his sister. Reaction to assessor: Chunky looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Chunky remains with body flattened at the back of the cage, alert with pupils dilated. Reaction to touch: Chunky flinches during the stroke with ears flat back and began to lip lick in place. He remains wary with his surroundings then stiffens up. Placement determination: Experience / no child Chunky tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
