S: Alert, allows handling O: QAR, BCS 4/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Clean deciduous teeth. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Distended, no pain on palpation M/S/I: Amb x4. Brown liquid diarrhea all over hind legs and around anus. Anus is protruding. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical. Parvo test – negative A: 1. Diarrhea – R/O parasites vs. gastroenteritis Short-term prognosis: Good-fair Current surgery status: Temporary waiver for diarrhea P: 1. Administered pyrantel 0.3 ml PO and Activyl for cats 2-9 lbs during exam 2. Give ponazuril 0.6 ml PO SID x5 days, repeat in 2 weeks 1088
