CHICO – A1088568
Gone - 9-10-2016 Manhattan
***GONE 09/10/16*** CHICO WAS FOUND IN A YARD…THEN DUMPED IN A HIGH KILL SHELTER! Baby CHICO is just 7 months old and in pretty good health. But the ACC doesn’t care! They will still kill him if a FOSTER OR ADOPTER isn’t found! They also were NOT too gracious with their EXPNOCHILD rating. This little guy is just a baby and it’s not known who he can surprise with good feline behavior! Give him a CHANCE! Be the “MAN” to this CHICO!

09/06/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Chico looks tense, sitting upright at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Chico stiffens up in place, yowls, alert with eyes wide open Reaction to touch: Chico retreats while he hisses, but when touched he attempts to hide. Placement determination: Experience / no child Chico tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children. 9/9 update: Chico does not appear to be thriving in the busy care center environment. He is hiding in his den and hisses when approached. We feel it is in his best interest to move into a stable home environment as quickly as possible.
