CHICHO – A1073066
Gone - 5-14-2016 Brooklyn
***GONE 05/14/16***CHICHO is a tiny calico female, only a year old, who came into the shelter as a stay. This poor girl is only 4 pounds and needs some daily meals and TLC to put some weight on her. She has a cold and she’s afraid in the shelter environment, so she can be fostered or adopted through New Hope Rescue. She’s hoping for a kitty angel today so she doesn’t have to die a sad lonely death tomorrow! CHICHO is Felv positive. Cats with Felv can live alone or with other Felv positive cats and dogs. This sweetie desperately needs your help. She’s so young and hopefully will live a long happy life! Please contact New Hope Rescue to help save CHICHO today!

Reaction to assessor: Chicho ran into the cat den When spoken quietly: Chicho continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Chicho watches me through the holes and hisses Reaction to touch: Chicho hisses, strikes and does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: Did not attempt due to fractious behavior. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Chicho seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment she was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. Chicho may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling.
