MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: During his medical intake, Chester was friendly and relaxed. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Chester is seated at the front of the cage, vocalizing loudly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Chester continues to vocalize loudly, remaining in place. His body is relaxed and eyes are soft. Reaction to cage door opening: Chester stops vocalizing, stands up and looks around the room with curiosity. Reaction to touch: Chester remains in place, relaxed and allowing all touch. He continues to look curiously around the room. Reaction to being picked up: Chester allows the assessor to pick him up and hold him. He remains relaxed and quiet. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate VOCAL: Talkative CHARACTER TYPE: Sweet, Insistent, Easy going BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Chester interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
